    Under the sea, Frenchman sing.

Post  Berwald Oxenstierna on May 21st 2012, 3:53 pm

Opening the door to an empty room, Max breathed in strongly. Closing the door behind him, he passed the pictures of kids having fun at a Beck Live concert and the 'WELCOME TO THE SHOW!' words. Right now, Max was just intrested in sitting at the stool up from. Which was excatly what he did.

Strumming on a acoustic guitar, Max hummed along to the blues that he was creating. With the feeling of the strings hitting his fingers, the Frenchman was finding great enjoyment in this. Oh how he wished that playing music was legal in his country, but it wasn't aloud so he played whenever he could. In result, he’d actually become quite good at.

Taking a breath, his fingers began a strum a new tune, a softer and lighter tuned one, "I'm a cowboy,
On a steel horse I ride. I'm wanted, dead or alive...Wanted!...Dead or alive"
his voice trailed off back to a hum.

Each word was coming out in a juicy, dark sound and it sounded like a professional, but it was cut off as max let a stiffened sigh escape his lips and let the music keep going. This time it was the thick sound of heart ache. A tone that comes from playing by ear. Yet, it didn't show on Max's face that he was upset at all. Instead, he looked rather happy for a soft spoken, dark looking guy.

Thank you Bon Jovi and your very few good songs.. He thought quietly to himself as the image of what he had just sang a few moments ago fluttered in and out of his head.

    It's alirght I join, right?

The Young American girl was walking silently down the hall, the sounds of her heel's hitting the ground were quieter than usual. She seemed to be in a bit of a depression spell, as she always was whenever she felt the smallest sadness in her heart. She was feeling down ever since she lost one of her friends a long time ago, and today was the day they passed.

She arrived at the Music Room, the place where she let's her sadness go by playing Piano or Violin. She took a quick stop as she could hear through the door singing, "I'm a cowboy,On a steel horse I ride. I'm wanted, dead or alive...Wanted!...Dead or alive"

She stayed at the door for a bit then knocked softly four times, trying to make sure it was her imagination.

I like the choice in song...
And I apologize for the lack of image and short reply, I'm still transferring stuff over my computers.

Max stopped strumming the moment the knock sounded and he tensed up. Biting his lip, the thousands of possible outcomes of whom it was flew through his head. He turned lightly and could see the shadowed outline of a woman. It was that little thing that could be a lie to his eyes that made him relax. After all, he could be right.

"Come in.." Max said softly with a soothing, melodic tune in his voice. "I promise not to bite..unless, of course, if you find my words a tad harsh.." a thick french accent laced in and out of his words, but the slightest tint of an English mans accent could be heard when he finished each word.

He smirked falsely at his joke. Mainly because he was bothered if the person at the door would turn him in for treason. But it was a whatever. Standing now, he ran a hand through his wavy, wild curls. Apparently his best trait

(Sorry for such a late and suckie reply.. i have been busy with my seniors finals.)

She hesitated for a second before slowly opening the door. Her soft platinum blonde hair seemed to shine a bit in the light of the hallway till she closed the door, then she focused her purple-ish red eyes on the other. A small smile formed on her lips as she stepped only a few feet closer, a bit fearful of the boy.

"H...Hello," She smiled, "was it you who was singing?" She thought for a moment on what she said before mentally facepalming and silently calling herself an 'oblivious idiot'. She let out a soft sigh as she thought once again on what to say. "Did I interrupt y...you?" She rarely stutters unless she was afraid or sadden, but in this case it was a bit of both.

I also apologize for the lateness and shortness of my post, I've just gotten back from surgery not to long ago.

Letting his hand fall back to his side, Max let a relaxed look come to his face. This woman wasn’t any harm to him. He should have never made such a big deal out of it in the beginning. Plus, she looks nervous. If she were here to capture him, she’d look more..boss like.

“It was me who was singing… You aren’t bothering me, but I am sorry if I bothered you with my singing to bring you here…” Setting his guitar down, the Frenchman stood up and turned around to meet the young american girl while holding out his left hand, “My name’s Max..”

Seeing the nervous, scared way of the girl, Max tried his best to be as gentle as he could. Each word came out soft in tone, his hand came out in a friendly manner and he even had a soothing look about him as he fell into the act of being a ‘nice’ guy. Something that he commonly never was.

Max stole a look into the purple-red eyes that belonged to the girl that had appeared at the moment and thought to himself quietly, I wonder why she's here.. so late in the evening like this? Hmm..
