    Ballroom Prom

    Post  Eireann Ó'Reilly on July 19th 2012, 7:21 pm

Never in her life had Viorica felt so stressed yet so light. The night of the prom had arrived and as was expected of the punctual Class President, she had been preparing for it much earlier than she needed to. She had made some last minute arrangements, cleaned the school, set up the decor, ordered the food, prepped the stage, and was now, finally, starting to get herself ready. Walking over to her closet, Viorica took a deep breath of preparation, pulling open the door to reveal her evening attire. A dress she would likely remember wearing for the rest of her days.

The dress fit her form in a stunning manner, lining the curves of her upper body in an innocent elegance. It was a mysterious shade of dark grayish-purple with accents of black and garnished with four shimmering golden buttons on her lower torso and a spiral of matching golden ribbons stretching around the skirt. The skirt reached to her upper thighs in the front and down to her ankles in the back. The edges were ruffles lightly just as the ends of her long, transparent sleeves and hood-like shawl worn behind her shoulders. She completed her prom appearance with a characteristic ribbon tying up her hair and a pair of heeled black ankle boots to match. Adding a little more curl to her hair, some black eyeliner, mascara, and just a pinch of purple and gray eye-shadow to her eyes, everything was complete.

Vio stood in front of her floor length bedroom mirror, letting out a nervous sigh. No matter how long she stared into the mirror, her reflection would never show. On such an important night like this, it caused her great concern. However, seeing as the mirror was technically useless, someone might wonder why she kept such a thing. The answer was simple - it gave her confidence. She was raised on the ideal that every little girl deserved to be raised on: that she was beautiful no matter what anyone else thought of her, and that night, she did feel especially beautiful. So, with a dazzling smile, the Transylvanian hurried to her front door, grabbing a bouquet of black roses along the way.

It was about a half hour before the actual festivities were scheduled to happen that the Class President arrived at the Ballroom. Busy as a bee, she scurried around, fixing decorations, arranging tablecloths, fixing the lights-- everything and anything you could imagine a dedicated Prom Coordinator to be doing. Her black roses were lying on one of the many tables set up in the dining area, the golden ribbon tied around them a sure clue to the identity of who the bustling girl behind the curtain was. If anyone came in unexpectedly, they would know not to disturb her as she finished preparing the dance floor.

Making a last touch, the young vampire plugged in the stereo, instantly beginning a playlist of classical music. Satisfied, she backed away from the stage, placing her hands on her hips to observe the work she had done.

"Ah! Finally! ..It's perfect!" Her ruby eyes gleamed in excitement, only to fade a moment later. She had tired herself out with all the running around, and so, grew faint much too quickly. Her balance shifted, causing her to fall backwards with a whispery groan.

[I'm at my work's computer.. I'll add a picture later]

    "Are you alright?"

A tranqil voice rose from the silence, echoing lightly in the vast, empty room.

The voice belonged to that silvery-haired Russian teen who had quietly entered the room. He was brought up to be promt and punctual, which is why he was always early for those Gakuen classes..

Except, of course, those times where Ivan Braginski chose to skip for various reasons.

The Russian was dressed in nice black slacks, a black vest over a white collared shirt, and a pair of polished shoes to fit the unusually dressy outfit. The only thing that was seemed slightly off was Ivan's scarf that was draped loosely around his neck as usual. His scarf was one reason why he was picked on during highschool; he would wear it even in hot weather, resulting the other kids to think that is was like his "security blanket" or something rather. However, they stopped trying to steal it away from him after that one day the teen snapped and sent a few people to the nurse's office.

Ivan didn't even seem sorry he hurt them; they needed a reality check anyways.

But now, that usual light smile graced Ivan's pale features, his amethyst irises glimmered cheerily under a few stray strands of his medium-length bangs. The teen approached the young vampire with his hands in his pockets; yet as he got nearer, Ivan slipped one of his hands out and extended it to the girl. He didn't really know Viorica that well... but he knew her enough to not be considered a stranger.

"You work yourself too hard..." He mused lightly.

"I've noticed that through the semesters..."

Short reply is short. No picture either...:<

"You better not be trying to make a move on my cousin, Braginsky." Gilbert grimaced from across the ballroom, not yet completely dressed for the dance like the other two were, still wearing a red casual pull-over and jeans. He strode towards his cousin, black dress shoes clacking against the hard marble floor while his suit dangled from a hanger in his hand, straight from the dry cleaner's. Gilbert stood beside the Russian, half glaring and half observing his apparel simultaneously. "I hope you aren't as boring of a date as you are a person..." He quietly muttered to himself before turning his attention back to his cousin. "Hey, are you alright?"

The Prussian threw his tuxedo over his shoulder and gently pulled Viorica to her feet, refusing to let her go to the Russian for help. "You're gonna work yourself to de--..." He trailed off, absolutely stunned by the way his cousin was dressed. "Vio, you....you look amazing!" He took a small step backwards to get a better look at her, but still held her hand in case she decided to faint again. "The girls are gonna be turning green with envy. I can see it now!! You'd knock the socks off of every guy...No wonder Braginsky was trying to make his move." He joked and glanced over in Ivan's direction.

After passing out, Viorica found herself waking to the amethyst eyes of Ivan Braginski. She blinked in surprise, flashing a small smile back to the male standing above her. She was just about to respond, reaching up to take his hand, when an even more familiar voice stopped her in her tracks. Her ruby eyes widened when she saw her Prussian cousin step up to them.

"Gil!" She gasped, taking hold of his hands as he helped her to her feet. "Ah..Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little tired is all." She chuckled. "Odd isn't it...I'm normally the lively one at this time of the day... I guess..I could back off on the work a littl--" Vio stopped suddenly when her cousin took notice of her appearance. A bright blush lit up her cheeks and she fidgeted slightly in a charming yet nervous manner.

Gilbert always seemed to know just how to make her smile, and this was no exception. Her dazzling grin took place on her lips, her grip on his hands tightening with a wondering and serious gaze. A gentle giggle accompanied her grin and gaze, almost instantly vanquishing her tired mood.
"Y-you...really think so?! It's not too...dark or too much?"

Yao walked shyly through the ballroom door, hearing the music playing from outside as it resonated out into the open air. He wasn’t even sure why he had bothered to come to prom. He didn’t have a date or a significant other to go with and he wasn’t even certain his family was all that interested. Hanging back by the open doorway, he noticed he was one of the first ones present. He frowned; that would simply make things more awkward. Sighing, the Chinese teen decides to simply suck it up and go over to the people already there. He couldn’t quite tell who they were from a distance but that didn’t really matter. Whoever they were, it was better to talk to others than just stand there.

He was dressed in a snuggly fitting mandarin-style crimson silk shirt that had slits cut in the sides so from his hips to just above his knees the fabric laid in two flaps: one in front, one in back. It was sleeveless and had an Eastern dragon embroidered on it with gold colored thread. He wore simple black pants and plain black dress shoes. His hair was held in a low braid and adorned with a beaded hair ornament his sisters had forced him to wear.

As he got closer to the trio he recognized them. He froze in his tracks and momentarily considered hiding at the sight of Ivan. Though he would never admit it, he’d had a deep crush on his Russian friend and classmate for quite some time. The Asian remembered his heart sinking to the bottom of his ribcage when Ivan said he had a date to the prom. But, of course, he was still the other teen’s friend and had feigned congratulations at the news.

Taking a deep breath, Yao walked onward towards the others. Just because he had missed out on his chance to share his feelings with Ivan, he would not let himself be in a sour mood all night. Forcing a smile onto his face, he came up next to the Russian, cheerfully greeting everyone present, “Ni hao everyone.” He turned to the Transylvanian girl, “Viorica, you look… absolutely lovely.”

The silent teen was just arriving, but she knew she was somewhat early. Her heart was pounding against her chest; she couldn't remember a time when she was so nervous. But she didn't understand why either. She loved any kinds of gatherings because they brought people closer together, and she was one to try to make people feel comfortable. Maybe it was all in her head, maybe she was just being silly.

She fixed her curled dark hair to one side and sighed as she looked at it. Her hair reached longer than her mid-back, so it naturally took a good long time for it to style. She wore a modest green dress that reached just above her knees. It was pretty simple, save the black lace that went around her waist then fell to one side of her dress. She wasn't a fan of too much jewelry, so a simple necklace hung from her neck to the top rim of her dress.

As she entered, she saw some students were already there. Marina didn't know them very well since she registered for school towards the end of it. Just to see other people there was a great relief for her because she certainly didn't want to be the first one. She quietly walked over to the group of students and smiled her usually smile.

"Hello, everyone. You all look very nice," she said simply. She was sure they were in her classes, she had seen them before once or twice. The teen was glad there was music to create a certain mood incase there was uncertain silence.

crappy reply is crappy. No joke.

"You better not be trying to make a move on my cousin..."

The Russian glanced toward the other side of the ballroom as the familiar voice spoke up.

"Hello to you too, Gilbert." The teen chuckled in reply, his smile fading into an amused smirk as Gilbert stepped up and helped his cousin; he didn't seem offended at all at the other's gestures. This was normal for Gilbert... He and the Prussian had their share of quarels over the past school sessions and still pick on each other from time to time for their own amusement; so there was no doubt in Ivan's mind that this was going to turn out to be an interesting night...

The Russian simply slipped his hand back into his pocket and watched quietly as the cousins talked; he had to admit, though. Viorica did look quite good. His attention was grabbed, however, at the two new appearences that entered the room; Yao and Marina. Marina was the first friend he made in the gakuen semester, yet it had been a while since he saw her last, and Yao was a classmate that he befriended quite quickly.

"Privet, Yao.... Marina!" He pipped up cheerily in greeting toward the others; that perfect Russian accent rolled off his tongue as he spoke. He was quite fond of the two, them being some of the only people that Ivan didn't constantly bicker with. Upon thinking briefly over the past events of the school year, Ivan's nerves suddenly fluttered with exitement, as if he only just realized that he was a bit anxious about this event; it's not his first dance, really -- dancing was quite popular in his country. However.. this was his first prom... Not only that, this was also his first date-like outing...

Ivan scanned over the attire of the Chinese and the Mexican to try to ignore the last-moment jitters, suddenly taking in how good they also looked.

"You look nice!" Ivan mused with his usual cheery smile, letting his amethyst eyes shift back and forth from Yao to Marina.

    "Both of you!"

Yao blushed softly at the Russian’s compliment and gave a nervous smile, “Ah, Really? Xiexie… You look nice too.” He added with slight hesitation. He wasn’t reluctant to say so because he didn’t think he looked nice. Quite the opposite, he liked Ivan’s attire and appearance a bit too much. He didn’t want to accidentally give away the fact that he like-liked his friend and so paused to consider how big of a compliment would be appropriate. He hoped that it hadn’t seemed as though he was lying…

Manuel wasn't so sure about attending prom in the first place. Sure, he would love to see his classmates, but that would also mean he would have to dress formally. And frankly, tuxedoes and ties weren't something that interested him. In fact, he didn't understand why someone had to dress up in such a way for one night. But since it was that way, he had picked one up earlier in the day. The tie had made him lose his temper quickly.

The Mexican was glad to finally be at the place without having to struggle with his tie anymore. As he entered he saw some students all ready there. It was easy to spot Ivan first because he was the tallest of the group, and he noticed he was wearing one of those suits as well. Maybe Italy would be there too, he liked these kinds of things didn't he?

The teen walked over to the group and offered a smile. Since everyone was complimenting everyone, it would be polite to do the same. His brown eyes shifted from one person to the next. "Everyone looks nice. Now that we've covered that, what is someone supposed to do at prom?" He saw everyone chatting, but they didn't see to be doing much of anything else.

The Frenchman strided in, briefly lingering at the doorway for a moment as he observed the others. He wasn't all too nervous about attending the prom; after all, he had volunteered as one of the DJs. In fact, Francis had been looked forward to the prom for quite a while; naturally, he'd dress in simple yet, according to Francis, rather fashionable attire-a black tuxedo and tie.

The Frenchman smirked, walking over to the group with his usual charming smile, already recognizing Ivan and Gilbert. "Bonjour, everyone.." Francis greeted, arching an eyebrow at Mexico's words with a soft chuckle. "Have fun, what else?" Teased the Frenchman, an amused flicker in his gaze as he turned, sauntering over to stand next to Marina. Smiling rather flirtariously, Francis gently took Marina's hand, playfully kissing it in a gentleman-like manner.

"You look very beautiful, mon cher.." Francis purred in Marina's ear, before pulling away with a wink.

While eagerly awaiting Gilbert's answer, Viorica found her attention draw to Yao instead. Suddenly, a whole flood of people were arriving. She smiled and made a subtle bow in thanks to the Chinese teen's compliment. "Mulţumesc, Yao! You look fantastic as well~" The Transylvanian straightened quickly and looked around the room at everyone, now completely recovered from her dizzy spell.

"You all look stunning!" Viorica grinned to the inhabitants of the ballroom. "And if you would like...we could always start off the night with a little dancing. Either that," She pointed back towards the dining room, which was sectioned off by two large, dark curtains. "..Or you could grab something to eat. We have a lot of sweets and such, you know, typical prom food.." She shrugged. "Please, do whatever you would like. The more fun everyone has, the better." She smiled brightly, looking over toward the stage and stereo setup.

"And I don't know about you guys but...dancing is definitely the first thing on my list. Anyone want to join me?"

Gilbert motioned to respond to his cousin but was distracted by the growing amount of people coming into the ballroom....and he still wasn't ready; he was quickly feeling like the elephant in the room, but walking over to the bathrooms to change was unacceptable, being too far away from his current position (that, and he was too lazy to walk). This only meant one thing and Gilbert would have to resort to it. The Prussian observed the room, running a list off in his head.

    • Surrounding area is dimly lit √

    • Party go-ers are (somewhat) distracted √

    • One tuxedo and a tie √

    • Over-inflated confidence √ √ √

    • Little to no ounce of shame whatsoever √ √ √

    Last but not least....

    • YOLO √

Everything was perfect in his mind and the pros greatly outweighed the cons. A little detention was the worst that could happen and suspension or even expulsion was the best case scenario. And to hell with what everyone thought. Without a word, Gilbert silently excused himself from the group conversation, calmly and nonchalantly pacing towards the closest table and draped his suit over a chair, making sure not to disorganize Viorica's arrangements and decorations. There, he kicked off his dress shoes and undid his belt, placing it silently on the table. As expected, the table did poorly to cover his lower body at his height but regardless, the Prussian removed his jeans and slipped on his black slacks, all at a very leisurely pace as if he was in the privacy of his own bedroom.

Such are the benefits of overconfidence and a dead conscience.

Gilbert pulled off his red jacket, grimacing at the assault of cold air on his bare skin. As he reached for the white dress shirt, the Prussian absently tuned in to the conversation, adding his two cents in every so often.

"Already hitting up the ladies, Francis?" He grinned at his friend while stepping back into his dress shoes. "Don't think that all the girls are ready to drop their pants for you." He mused, starting to button up his white dress shirt and tucking it into his pants. "...Especially when they can go for a sexier guy like me." Gilbert laughed and threw his black jacket on after a few adjustments on his stupid uncomfortable red cummerbund. The Prussian cleared his throat and hid his other clothes under the table and draped a red silk tie over his neck before walking back over to the group like nothing happened.

He retook his place beside Ivan with his hands casually in his pockets and smiling like an idiot. "...What'd I miss?"

Viorica had unfortunately settled her gaze on Gilbert when he had begun to undress to change into his tuxedo. It brought a blush to her cheeks that luckily, he didn't seem to notice. She didn't mind her cousin changing so out in the open, but truly had no idea how she was supposed to deal with it either and so, she let him continue without interruption. It was prom after all. She didn't want him to miss a single moment of excitement.

By the time the Prussian returned to the group, a certain Transylvanian with crossed arms and a mischievous smirk had just the means of replying to his question.
"You haven't missed much. Just a few prom-goers fawning over your half-naked body." She snickered. "And of course your dearest cousin waiting for a dance partner." Viorica wasted no time in moving to her cousin's side and wrapping her arms firmly around one of his. She glanced up at Ivan, her ruby eyes putting on an irresistible pleading look. "You don't mind if I steal him for one dance do you Ivan~?" She purred.

Marina smiled at Ivan. "Gracias, Ivan." She remembered meeting the Russian, and he wasn't so bad. He was rather quiet and calm, at least he seemed that way.

She saw the French teen walk casually towards her, and she was sure he was going to greet her. What he did next surprised her. He took her hand in his and it made her tense. A light blush rose to her cheeks, but it quickly left as it came. She smiled softly at his compliment. "Gracias Francis, you look very nice as well." She thought she had seen him once, but where? She slowly let go of his hand and folded hers together. It would have been awkward if they didn't say anything, but when she was about to speak another person walked up to the French teen.

She wasn't sure what to think of the other student. She hadn't seen or talked to him, but was silently relieved when he finally left. She silently curled a strand of her hair, turned to Francis, and said, "One moment..."

She glanced at Manuel and tapped his shoulder. "Manuel, would you mind talking with Francis and I? We could use your company." But honestly she was just shy about having a conversation with anyone. He was much better at talking than she was.

    Ivan was subconciously fiddling with one of the ends of his thick scarf as he scanned curiously about the area. He couldn't help but notice that Gilbert had slipped away from the growing crowd. But once it dawned of the Russian exactly what the Prussian was doing in the dimly-lit area behind the table, he promptly shifted his eyes elsewhere with a small smirk. He wasn't exactly sure what to make of that sight.. yet he chose to ignore it for right now, turning his attention back to the others for now;

Maybe he could poke fun at Gilbert later...

    "T'ank you.." The Russian replied cheerily toward Yao in return for the compliment. He didn't really notice any change in the Chinese teen's tone nor expression; he was glad someone approved of his attire. Ivan flashed Yao a light smile before turning his attention toward Marina as she thanked him. However, he gave an amused chuckle as the French teen stepped in;

Francis... the flirt of the class. Ivan never really bothered much with the blond, yet he seemed nice despite his way with females.Ivan smiled once again as Gilbert came back, noticing his new appearance.

"Well.. You don't look horrible." He joked with a light chuckle. he was used to seeing the Prussian in jeans, hoodies, and the sort; it was interesting to see him dressed up like this. He liked it, though.

Ivan's smile didn't falter as Viorica gazed at him with those pleading eyes. He chuckled again, raising a hand a little bit in a rather careless manner.

"Nyet, go right ahead.. a'I have something to take care of first anyway.... Have fun!"

With a cheery smile, a wave, and a gentle clacking of dress shoes, Ivan turned and walked away from the crowd toward the other, darker end of the ballroom.

She bit her lip. Why Did she come here anyways? Its just like walking into a dragon's Den. She Clutched the fabric of her silk dress at her stomach. The Micronation Was wearing a White Dress, which was was Cut shorter in the front, but trailed down in the back, with Beautiful Embroiderments. This Was Reez. "Oh joy... Oh Such Bloody Joy..." She could make out a few figures in the room who she Reconized. Ivan, Gilbert, Yao, and Francis just to name a few. The Red-head sighed and moved towards one of the Walls of the Room, afraid to mess things up. If Things went all well, She wouldn't have to deal with her Brothers. Her thoughts were stopped as she got wrapped up in the gentle music, and quietly hummed along, forcing herself to stay still, and not start dancing along. "If I wasn't wearing these bloody pain in the arse heels, I could just fall asleep right here..." She Smirked to herself, before closing her eyes.

The Young Nation wrap her arms around her stomach, the butterflies dancing inside becoming quite bothersome. in the dimmed lights, she could see parts of her Crimson locks out of the corner of her eye, The Ringlets Perfect and Flawless. For a moment, she thought of her own appearance. How could it be that she was related to Arthur and Peter? Her hair wasn't a messy blonde, and her eyes were a Deep Sapphire, not Emerald. But thank God she didn't have any bushy eyebrows like them. But, She shared the same accent. and she was proud of it to. "Where are my bloody brothers? Or are they even attending?" She sighed Irritibly to herself while trying to keep her cool. No matter how much she hated them, she didn't want to be alone here, of all times.

The Young Redhead spotted the Russian, Over at the refreshments. 'no need to go all dectective. Your just nervous from being here, thats all...' She kept thinking to herself. Suddenly, her mouth felt Dry. "A good drink might fix everything..." she made her way over to the table, trying her best to avoid trouble. Picking up a cup, she poured herself some of the Punch. Bringing it to her lips she took a sip, Wincing for a moment. She felt her throat Burn as it trickled down the back of her throat. finishing the cup, she placed it in the trash and moved to the sweets. Sweets allways made everything better.

"Oh, trust me, Gilbert. It won't be just the ladies, mon ami." The French teen smirked at the Prussian's words teasingly with a chuckle, followed by a wink. He glanced over once the Prussian briefly left the group, the smirk remaining on his expression as he more or less figured out what Gilbert was doing behind the table. An interesting sight indeed..

The flirtatious Frenchman rolled his eyes, then reverted his attention back to Marina, glancing once at Manuel curiously. "De rien, mon cher." Francis replied, smirking playfully at her.

He couldn't help but notice the Russian departing from the group, though the French teen didn't appear too concerned-he hadn't ever spoken much with the Russian, if at all, therefore Francis decided to simply have nothing to do with him. Looking back at Marina, Francis couldn't help but admire her, just as he did with most of the ladies, be it during class or not. Being quite the flirt, he simply just couldn't help himself. Flirting and teasing never hurt anyone, well, as far as Francis was concerned.

Raivis blushed slightly as He walked into the ballroom alongside his date, Aleksei Braginski. Raivis was wearing a fancy tuxedo with a red bow tie, his Brothers had taken him tuxedo shopping the day before and had been giving him tips on how to impress his date. "You look so handsome Aleksei" He blushed and reached into his coat pocket and took out a boutonnière. "Thank you so much for coming with me to the prom, You make me feel like the luckiest nation in the world" He smiled as he pinned the rose onto the Russian's coat. The Latvian was so in love with the Braginski Son, He didn't want to ruin this magical night.

He politely bowed with a smile "Would you care for a dance?" He blushed slightly as He held a hand out toward the Russian.

It was a nerveracking night for Alek. Up until now, it was rushed, his scarf was lost, he was flailing everywhere...it was simply a mess. But now he was calm, his cheeks were flushed looking at the Latvian. The Russian wore a dark suit, it was casual yet dressy- the sleeves were rolled up to his elbows and he wore a white scarf, his hair was in slight curls that framed his face nicely. He smiled gently. "Well, de feelings very mutual." He chuckled lightly handing him a sunflower. "Here." His cheeks burned but he was lucky enough the room was dim enough to hide it on his too fair cheeks. He nodded taking his hand and made his way out into the dance floor.

The Latvian blushed slightly as he held the sunflower "Thank you". He smiled and walked onto the ballroom floor holding the Russian's hand. His heart was racing but he managed to stay calm, and remembered what His Brothers had advised Him. Swiftly He bowed and placed his right hand on the Russian's waist and started leading them into a slow dance.

"one two three, one two three" He muttered to himself as He tried to keep up the pace. He had practiced for hours with his Brothers and didn't want to let them down. He looked up into the Russian's eyes and was entranced by their beauty, He had never seen anything so lovely in his life before. Raivis stumbled slightly, "S-sorry" He said with a light chuckle, He was starting to lose his cool.

He chuckled tightening his hand around the others. "Just relax." he murmured softly, now taking the lead. "Ai'm here. Just forget ev'rybody else." He said rather casually then paused almost staring out. He then regained his composure and looked down at Raivis. "Ai'm sort of glad mai father doesn't seem to notice me." he chuckled softly.

The door to the ballroom swung open rather slowly, a curious hand holding up the massive thing. Rachel stared into the area, her heart felt like a balloon, swelling up massivly in her chest. She felt like the only one without a date, she probably was. She inhaled and exhaled shakily.
What was with her? What happened with her confidence that she had when she went dress shopping with her sisters? What happened with being fabulous? Easier said than done, she assumed. But she regained her composure, shaking off all her previous timidness. She stood up straight, her head held high letting the light shine on her fantastic features. Dramatic Much? Her lips were a red wine colour, and her her eyes were outlined with skill showing off her brown eyes. They seemed to glow in the dim lighting. Her dress was simply, a long black gown with a slit down her breasts. In the end, she never bought a dress- she simply made one herself with elbow length gloves to match and stunning red heels. Her hair was somewhat straight with ringlets at the ends of her tips. She felt content with her pride and made her way in.

    Crappy reply is crappy

Antonio knew that he was late to the party but hey, he had to get himself looking great if he was going to enjoy himself at prom. He wore a classic black suit, with a white dress shirt and a simple black bow tie. In his hands was a red flower that he happened to take from one of the bushes that was outside. He noticed a few familiar faces such as Gilbert, Franics and Ivan. However there were a few people that he had not seen but he was going to take this time to go and meet them. "Hola, amigos." Antonio waved at his companions

Finally, the day all the students have been waiting for has finally come. Prom, a night to remember for all the students. All dress in beautiful dress and charming tuxedos. Before he could walk inside the ballroom, he could see the flowers surrounding and other students already arriving at the prom, he saw Spain picking up a flower and heading inside, he smiled to himself that was typically Spain. He saw other people unfamiliar probably these are the other students he didn't meet the whole semester, it was a really big school, really.

On the way inside the Ballroom, an Italian arrived into the place dressed in white and brown tuxedo. A white tux (blazer) that has a length down to his thighs and white slacks. Black inner shirt with a red tie and in addition of a brown stripped vest, he wears. Ironically, upon walking in the Italian was slightly nervous until he heard the sound of a classic tone that made his heart finally at once at ease again. The first thing he noticed is the design the student council has made, very remarkable! For him it was really the night to remember, unforgettable. The Italian was surprisingly in his best behavior but then so him to drop into the special event so late, it was so him.

After looking at the designs, next thing he ever noticed was the amount of people already in there. Ones in the dance floor, standing and talking, checking out others outfit. While there are some already students dancing. "This is-sa-Prom, si?" he talked to himself after breathing a nervous breath. Before he could join the group of crowd, he saw some people already at the corner enjoying their time and drinking some punch that have been served. Didn't want to bother these people, he nodded upon recognizing them and walked toward the crowd. Indeed he saw some of his classmates, Spain, Mexico, Viorica Prussia and many more. He smiled, he immediately saw his friends. What a great year!

He joined the group and looked at their outfits admiring them for it. He smiled to some of the people and complemented them. He saw the few girl already up for a dance and Mexica, there he smiled at her. "You look very lovely tonight~", the Italian gave her a compliment. He flail his arms like he usually do and tell everyone, since he's late he wont get a chance to say 'hi' to everybody in time, "Hi guys! Enjoying Prom, si? Let-sa-make this the night we always remember! All of you are looking good tonight!", he complemented to everyone. "Big brother Spain and France!", his eyes opened upon recognizing them and handshake both nations and kiss both of their cheeks, like any other Italian would. "I bet you two will have ladies tonight!"

After all that greeting, he shifted himself towards the Mexican, his classmate from two of his classes and one of his closes friends. He playfully elbows him and give him a bright smile. "You brought your sister, she's very beautiful tonight!", he smiled and once spoked again. "Are you going to dance soon?"

She was upset. No. She was pissed off! Embarrassed! Humiliated! Her brother St. Petersburg had managed to steal another precious thing from her - her date. If it weren't for her aunts Ukraine and Belarus, she would've stayed at home sulking in her room. Ah... well, she should at least try to have a little fun.
Dominika stared in awe at the beautifully decorated room, although what really caught her eye was the sight of her Aleksei dancing with her former date. Dominika's fists balled at her sides as a small growl escaped her throat.

Perhaps she should've stayed home anyway...
