Total Drama Hetalia

'Ello, fellow Nations. This came up after spending part of the afternoon watching TDI..so therefor, this happened. For anyone that doesn't know, TDI is short for Total Drama Island, a fictional cartoon show based on a parody of the reality show, Survivor.

This roleplay is centered on the first original season of TDI, and is open to anyone, although the limit of contestants will be up to twenty-two; with one elimiated after each challenge until one remaining victor is left. Once the limit is reached, I think it's best to close the roleplay to anyone else until further notice in order to avoid confusion and such. Characters template's aren't required for this roleplay, however it's recommended to avoid confusion between who's who and who's on what team. For more information or to sign your character up for a certian team or role, catch me in the chatbox or PM me.

Due to general TDI centering on teens, why not have the teen!Nations?

The contestents are dived into two teams of eleven, known as the Screaming Gophers and the Killer Bass, being tested in various simple to insane challenges while tolerating one another in after being taken to Camp Wawanakwa for their living quarters for the next few weeks; filthy cabins, a shared restroom, and a large expanse of wilderness. In each challenge, at the end, one is eliminated based on their overall preformance and are rumored to never return back to the island; however, this can be proven false in the most surprising of ways.

One or more campers can win invincibility in order to avoid being voted off, as well as their team, again based on their preformance in the previous challenge. Alliances can be formed between campers, be it false, temporary, or until the end of the weeks centering around the various challenges; however, betrayal can be expected.

A note of caution should be given, for anything can happen on Total Drama Island, as long as the cameras are rolling.

The sun rose beyond my window, notifying me that it was, indeed, morning. I was feeling really great, for today was the first day of a show I was hosting - one where twenty two teenagers compete against each other in two teams in challenges. Every night, the losing team had to go to a 'council' where one of their team members were sent back home. I often had to restrain from eating one of those marshmallows...

I got out of bed and changed into a simple white t-shirt with a big red maple leaf printed on the front. I honestly didn't care much about what I wore, only if it felt comfortable. I also put on a pair of shorts and sandals, for it would be hot on island. Or, at least, hot for me. I didn't fare well in the heat - I was more of a winter person.

As soon as I was finished, I grabbed a quick apple to eat on the way to the island where the show would take place. I went into the car and drove to the dock where I boarded a small sail boat to the island where the contestants were waiting*. The cameramen greeted and waved me over cheerfully. I saw the teens standing in two groups before me, on the beach. On the count of three, the cameramen started recording. I turned to the camera, smiling. 

"Welcome, all, to Total... Drama... ISLAAAAANND!" I started off dramatically, forcing my quiet voice to become louder than it normally was so that the microphone could pick it up. I walked over to the teenagers, and gestured at them.

"These twenty two teens are competing to become famous! Of course, they have to compete in a variety of challenges that will test their skills to see if they are really cut out for the great destiny of being a super star!" I continued. I'm going to talk to my manager later to see if I can act more like myself for the show... This fake personality is starting to get to me...

"So, we have two teams of eleven each. They are the Screaming Gophers -" I pointed to the first group, "-and the Killer Bass!" I directed the camera's view to the second team with a wve of my hand. I suddenly got a random idea.

"I know this isn't a part of the script my boss gave me, but I want to change my hosting part a little bit." I shot the audience sitting at home, watching, a sly grin before strolling casually to the closest contestant -a French looking blonde with bright blue eyes- and handing him another microphone. "I will just interview random contestants. Say, Francis -that's your name, right?-, why did you choose to compete on Total Drama Island?"

I smiled back - the in the slightest bit annoyed by the Frenchie's flirty personality. I was French myself, and, after all, having a romantic type here would just add to the drama. It was called "Total Drama Island" for a reason. When he mentioned his name, I blushed a bit, remembering I forgot part of my script. "Ah, of course! Unless you're like me, and do this every month. And... Um... I think I may have forgotten to introduce myself, by the way." I tried not to act shy again.

"To everyone who doesn't know who I am -even though you should- I am Matthieu Williams, the host of Total Drama Island! And all that jazz. Anyhoo..." I turned back to Francis. "What do you plan on doing after the show, if you win?"
