PM Me if you wish to join.

Note: This is a Canon Character only Roleplay.

Suggested to Join: The Axis, the Allies, and any other Canon Nations

RP Summary: World War 3 has broken out, and the nations are finally at war with one another. It’s not Allies against Axis, nor vice versa. These Nations fight with one another, launching attacks, and alliances are both formed and broken, rejected and accepted. But, who began this onslaught of brutal attacks and threats? The starter of the war is a mystery waiting to be solved, among the ongoing battles raging through each and every nation. The Nations must choose; fight alone, join together, or watch their country and their people fall before the world is in ruins.

    Things you Need to Know:

-Seeing as World War 3 hasn't occurred, this roleplay is open to make your own history, so to speak. Every action is unexpected, which makes it all the more interesting.

-The starter of the war is currently unknown, something for the nations to find out. (Further planning will be necessary, however it’s best if it isn't found out too soon) Whoever started the war began the attacks first, sent false threats and battle plans, etc, and threw countries into chaos to cause the war. For what purpose? Again, something the nations will have to find out on their own as the battles go on.

-Templates are not required, but if you want, go ahead and make one.

    RP Rules/Basics:

-At first, nations can start out working alone. You can have them form an ally, or break an alliance. It’s your decision whether or not to ask for an alliance or reject one from a fellow nation, altering the history of the war as it goes on.

-This Roleplay, most importantly, is leaning to a mature level. Gore is allowed, but make sure you place a warning somewhere. The battle can be fought both like in modern times; with guns and tank, etc, which is preferred for now. Or, it could be mixed up and move on to old battle tactics, such as with swords, etc. That depends entirely on how the RP is played out.

-Do not kill another Nation without permission; yes, it’s  a war, and yes, the nations could die in this; however, it won’t be much fun for the person behind the character. If you absolutely must kill, then ask the admin of the character first to avoid conflict. It’s preferred if the nations are kept alive for a while, though killing them off completely is not recommended.
Note-If anything, as long as the Capital of the nation remains standing, then so shall the said nation.

    P . R . O . L . O . G . U. E.

    Chaos.

The one word that could possibly describe the beginning of a new, full-fledged war.

World War Three had broken out among the Nations.

Fires raged through nearly every town and community, buildings crashed and burns, mere humans screamed and ran frantically in panic, only to be hastily urged into evacuation from soldiers. The only sounds that could end up being heard were many, such as piercing gunshots, the crashing of cars and the beeping of their horns and alarms, barking police canines, the unrelenting screaming, and orders shouted out in various languages across the destructive globe.

Remaining television broadcasters announced which nation was attacking who, which areas had been destroyed, and most importantly, the sickening, estimated death toll constantly being placed up on televisions around the world. Millions of civilians being either brutally murdered, killed on accident, or for just being in the wrong place at the wrong time, were added to the rising number nearly every second. Political leaders were announced dead or injured every twenty minutes to an hour, one by one either being picked off, assassinated by rival soldiers, or, much like civilians, being killed purely on accident. Nonetheless, death was an evident consequence to this blasted war, and it seemed the death toll would only continue to rise without any hesitation.

Soldiers of both friend and foe marched the streets, ducking behind cover to fire rapid gunshots toward the enemy, snatching dog tags from dead or dying comrades to at least keep their own honor, and the honor of a fallen man in war. Crimson spattered from every wound, staining the body-littered streets, the reek of death wafting in the area sickeningly. Slowly but surely, nation landmarks began to topple, crash, or burn in flames as the attacks went on through every country. Even the most peace-loving nations were forced into the long battle, provoked or urged into firing a single shot, one shot, that would declare the said nation at war with the countless others.

    Yet, on the equally chaotic side of the war, the living nations were in just as tough a position as everyone else was in. They needed to be the ones on the frontline of battle, commanding troops, leading assassinations, evacuating civilians, and alerting their country of its rise or downfall throughout the treacherous days and hours of the bloody war. They needed to form alliances to keep themselves, their people, and others safe; but, of course, they’d have no choice but to reject an alliance that could have their country unwillingly fall. Alas, no matter the attempts, there would always end up being a cruel, merciless consequence in the making. Despite the harsh conditions, the nations, as broken apart as they currently world, allowed one thought to cross their minds;
What could have possibly caused this?

Who was the culprit? Which nation sparked the war, or was it a civilian? If so, from what nation? Questions were left unanswered for days to come, barely a single ceasefire pausing the battles. Ah, well. No matter. The important thing now, was to protect their people.

    Mostly.

They thought the violence ended and that they would be careful not to begin another World War. They put their trust in them that they wouldn't have to hear the screech of missiles, or shiver under the sound of enemy jets and helicopters patrolling the sky.
Scattered soldiers who wore alien emblems on their uniforms walked on foreign grounds, armed with weapons as they awaited their orders; alliances and countries unofficially broke in half by the hand of a more ambitious leader, or broken government. A good example was the United Kingdom, which was falling apart with Scotland's and N. Ireland's unofficial independence.

It was the epitome of chaos.

Windows shook as did the maroon tinted tea, circles forming inside the small cup with screaming sirens following after. Her fingers curled around the handle and picked it up, taking the edge to her lips for a sip. "A warning shot, not a threat. Worry not, Your Majesty.", Rose soothingly spoke. The Queen's eyes narrowed at the country representation in utter disbelief. "Worry not? Whether it is a warning, or not, our country is in jeopardy! The nerve you have to tell me not to worry!" England was close to roll her eyes if it weren't for the fact that she was seated face to face with the woman. She hid her gaze in the liquid as she took in another drink. Madam Elizabeth crossed her arms in defence as she turned away her gaze towards the large windows. "You may have lived for centuries, but I do not know how much I will be able to go on. I am supposed to be in the hands of someone who would protect me and the country as well. And... here you are, just drinking your bloody tea!", the Queen spat and Rose sighed. Despite her calm appearance, she really didn't know what to do! If only Churchill was still alive today, her only hope was for another bright mind to step in. "Two wars and now the third... I didn't think I would live long enough to see this one coming! What are we going to do, Kirkland? We've lost Scotland and Northern Ireland, all we have left is Wales! We're going to need enforcement!" Rose sat the cup aside and re-adjusted her position with her legs crossed and her fingers laced on her lap. "It is the government's decision, not mine to take." She said firmly and unwillingly raising her voice, although she spoke the truth about seeking enforcement. With the Kingdom crashing and the ongoing war, she had no other choice but seek for help.

Never did she think she would have to sink so... so low.

The Nation of France was falling apart just as much as the United Kingdom, yet the capital still held strong against attacks. While other little towns of France fell victim to hazardous bombings and the harsh sound of gunfire, the Eiffel Tower and most importantly, Élysée Palace, remained standing. As much as Francis hated the thought of entering another war, seeing as already World War 2 had caused much suffering throughout the world, this new war was only a recipe for disaster, and he had no choice but to participate in it. The Frenchman paced back and forth at Élysée Palace in his President's office, wincing as he heard the wailing of sirens and the engines of rival jet planes shooting over the capital; each part of his body ached all the while, signalling the agonizingly slow areas of the nation being destroyed or taken over by a rival country. Occasional, he'd feel a spark of burning pain, by his abdomen or near his chest, which tended to cause Francis to double over a bit, needing to wait until the pain subsided before he kept on pacing. "Monsieur, ze capital still stands. As long as our forces protect it all costs, rest assured, our troops will keep up intact. However, I urge you to evacuate with the others. I can handle things from here." The Frenchman spoke up, pausing in his restless pacing to glance up at his boss, who held his head in his hands, almost shamefully as he listened. He received nothing but a brief silence from the French President, Hollande, and Francis bit his lip, glancing aside and continuing to pace until finally, the only other man in the room spoke. "Monsieur Bonnefoy, you don't seem to realize that the nation is already falling to ruins. Paris may still stand, but it won't be long before a rival finishes the capital off. Citizens are dying, Francis. One by one. Women, children, men-I refuse to evacuate, not when I know thousands of others are still at risk." Francis shut his azure eyes tightly, pained at just the thought alone.

"Je suis désolé, however, I need not be reminded, Monsieur Hollande. I'm well aware of what's going on.. unfortunately. I've gone through countless wars, I know what I'm doing, and have lived through every bit of it. I beg zat you don't doubt moi." Francis murmured quietly in reply, pausing to glance at the President before he finally sighed heavily, shakily plopping down in a chair in front of Hollande's desk, gripping the armrests tightly. "I don't doubt you, Francis. But, things get worse as we speak. Our forces can only hold off rivals from the capital for so long. We need help, whether we look for it or not. From what I've gathered with what's left of the news stations, one other Nation is taking a hit as worse as us; Britain." The Frenchman froze, only to glance aside several moments later, a flicker of faint desperation in his darkening, azure eyes. "N-non..Britain is much too strong to be falling already in such a manner-" Francis protested, yet held his tongue when the President raised his hand in a gesture to pause.

"Listen to me, Francis. We need help, and they need help. Simple as zat. I've spoken with the others in the palace earlier, though they agree with me. I wanted to run this by you before any action was taken; if anything, I suggest heading straight to England, to the Queen's palace. An alliance should be proposed, even if brief. This blasted war won't get us anywhere if we're merely trapped into protecting our own land, rather than attacking or protecting others who need it. You'd know better than me, Francis, however, I plead that you listen to me on zis. What do you think?" Francis only nodded slightly, opening his mouth to speak afterwards, though hesitantly. Mon Dieu, he truly hated to feel so weakened, so helpless, at just the thought of asking for an alliance. It was already that bad, wasn't it? Especially if the country of England was already falling, one of the few nations who seemed terribly close to dust and ruins.

"..As much as I hate to, I agree. You're right. Right now, an ally is most important if we're this close to losing the capital, or any part of France." Francis replied firmly, raising his head slightly to warily watch his President for a moment, before he stood up carefully from his seat, flinching once he heard the wailing of sirens and the crashing of cars and the half-screeching, half-skidding of tire wheels on harsh, paved road. "Zen it's settled. I want you to go now. Alert the Queen and that nation of hers, Rose, of your arrival; bring only several troops. I wouldn't want the British to see this coming across as some form or sign of a threat, or intimidation. I will stay here." The President finished, though Francis sighed in defeat, nodding. "..Oui..very well. I'll return upon request, or once I've finished with the proposition. " The Frenchman turned away, then gave one last, horribly worried glance to his President.

"Adieu..I pray that you stay safe while I'm gone." Francis added softly, before the Frenchman hastily left the room without another word, too preoccupied with gathering troops any longer to pay attention to his own President. Soon, a dispatch of troops, along with Francis, were setting off to England, in hopes that the alliance would pull through.

Public transportation was closed since weeks ago when the first missile was dropped on the great land. The panic and anger that several Brits were stuck in said countries they visited created a chaos almost as big as the chaos bound to happen. There were few television channels that were still being broadcasted and those were mainly news reporting events on the war. The airports were open for the jet force that patrolled the skies, but other than that, the airport did not grant permission to any other flying vehicles to come or leave the Island.

    However, there was an exception.

Despite the danger, the British and French have come to an agreement to open their airport for an upcoming French plane to fly over, especially since a certain Frenchman was aboard.

The phone cried to be picked up within the Buckingham palace; however relaxed she seemed to be, it caused Rose to slightly flinch due to it breaking the silence within the room. Swallowing the excess of spit, she pulled herself up from the chair and headed over to the luxurious table holding the old fashioned wired phone on it. The ringing stopped halfway to its final ring with the light click of the handle being picked up and taken to the ear of the Brit. "You've reached the Buckingham palace. Rose Kirkland on the line." The news brought shock to the blonde, eyes widening with surprise at the mention of the Frenchman willing to pay her a visit. He didn't provide a reason, but the sudden decision to leave his country in the midst of war must be of great importance. Rose's lips pressed, her mouth suddenly feeling dry; she hesitated to give an answer whether she should allow the airport to open on her behalf, but after some quick thinking, she responded - "Permission granted."

At the Briton's confirmation, the French plane landed at the airport, though was guarded the moment it opened up to allow Francis to exit. While just the general thought of leaving his country to only his President under it's control was troubling Francis, and the fact that it was a little to risky to leave to another country, he knew it was of severe importance, especially after discussing it with his own boss. It was for the sake of both countries, and would hopefully benefit the both of them if an agreement was settled on for an alliance, or at least for the time being. Still, it was all a risk that by now, Francis was willing to take if it meant protection for his country. It wasn't long before the Frenchman, as well as several French soldiers on board, were escorted out of the airport by British military. As unnerving as it was to be surrounded by rival soldiers, Francis swallowed back that twinge of unease and continued on, not even protesting as his own soldiers were eased away from the personification they'd been set on to protect. After several moments of discussion, as well as a pat down by airport security and even an officer or two, Francis was escorted alone straight to Buckingham Palace.

Even Francis couldn't bear to let his eyes rest on the fairly destroyed streets as they passed, traveling in a 'secured', and window-bulletproof car; a pitiful attempt at protection, however, with what was already going on, raging throughout the various nations mercilessly. Biting his lip, Francis finally exited the vehicle once they arrived at the Palace gates, being led in by two of the ever-famous, or at least to the public, red-dressed palace guards holding their firearms tightly in hand. The Frenchman silently followed as he was led inside the palace; they stopped only once, in front of the room where Rose had been located. One soldier held his weapon in front of Francis to block his way, in which the wary Frenchman immediately stopped in his tracks and held his tongue, giving no signs of protest at all. The second soldier marched forward in silence, proceeding to knock a few times before opening the door to the room, enough for him to view inside, and saluted the British woman. "Madam, Mr. Bonnefoy has arrived." The soldier stated, in more of a monotone-like voice as he continued, motioning behind him. "He is waiting just outside. Shall I let him in?"

As the smoky gray horizon signaled the dawn, Ludwig rubbed his dark-rimmed eyes. His normally slicked back hair was disheveled from stress. He had been up all night trying to decide what to do in this chaotic war. President Gauck wasn’t much help. The government was thrown into utter diary at the first sign of battle. Now that Germany was being fired upon, Ludwig was the only one with his head on straight. Well, as straight as it could be in a World War.

So far, the enemy advances on Germany hadn’t made it into Berlin, but it was only a matter of time. The blonde German sighed and ran his gloved hand through his hair for the millionth time in the last 24 hours. “There has to be a way to stop this madness.” He mumbled to the empty room as he tossed about papers and plans. His troops were protecting the boarders as best they could, and everything was shut down.

Without a government, the people were in ruins. Even without enemy troops in the capital, the streets and buildings were in flames. Riots broke out constantly. Ludwig was at a loss. He needed supplies and he needed control. He couldn’t risk another dictator after the last attempt, but he was starting to wonder if he had a choice.

Japan sat at a kotatsu across from his
Emperor, who drank his tea calmly. Japan only stared down at his tea
seeing his own reflection stare blankly back at him. His stomach was
in too many knots to have an apatite. War was going on all around him
and he knew he would be joining in soon, not that he was afraid, but
he missed the peacefulness when he and fellow nations would get
    together and have fun.

Right now Japans borders are closed up,
nothing can get in or out except for goods for his people. Most of
his navy are surrounding the island waiting for an attack, waiting to
    fight against death.

His emperor looked up, Japan meeting
    his gaze. “Are you prepared?

    Japan nodded “
Hai, I have been training thoroughly
this past month, I will not fail to protect my people.

His emperor nodded in understanding. “I
am glad you want to protect our people, it is our top priority in
this time, but will your training be enough? I am not sure we can
fight against the world by ourselves.

Japan thought this over, he had thought
about that himself. He had heard there were other nations starting to
form alliance's, that could mean trouble in the future. As much as
Japan wished he was strong enough to fight many nations at once like
before WW2, he wasn't. He must set his pride aside and look for an
ally he can trust. “Perhaps we do need an
ally. But I do not wish for an untrustworthy ally. I shall keep my
    eyes open.
