Open to anyone.. But trying to attract a certin Russian ;33

Since school was over, Sweden felt the overwhelming need to stop and get a cup of coffee from the kitchen. Though it wasn’t the best coffee, it was enough to calm down his nervous system after a long day. More then once, he was faced with having to teach a student about a instrument he didn’t know or a child that needed guidance that he couldn’t give. It was a bit stressful none the less.

Mind as well study.. It must look strange to just drink coffee and gaze around the room all alone..

“Hmm..” The Sweden mumbled to himself as he pulled out a notebook with all his notes about how to improve his performance. Dabbing a finger on his tongue, he brought it back down and turned the page, reading the scribbles if mistakes he had made throughout the day.

Checking his watch, it read 3:30.. It was about time for him to leave the school.. Some students stayed behind to study and the easiest route to the entrance door -when coming from the west wing- was to cut threw the cafeteria. It would be a bit awkward if he ran into anyone.. Not only would Berwald have to explain in the end why he was hear and his worries on his teaching, but he’d also have to engage in conversation. Which wasn’t the most enjoyable thing with his stressed mood.

    What Joy's... 2lihkb8

Classes at the Academy had ended and most of the building was empty, save for those who stayed for tutoring, sports, or any other work that needed to be done. Fine, dress shoes clicked against the marble floor in the hallway, echoing within the silence. They belonged to an extremely quiet boy named Viktor Braginski, son to Ivan Braginski. He had yet to get a schedule to attend classes, but he had visited the Academy today with the intention of greeting his father and picking up the papers necessary to transfer here.

With the papers resting delicately within his hands, he pushed the door open to the cafeteria. He was unaware that someone would be in here and almost immediately, turned to leave. His amethyst eyes fell upon the Swedish man and he just stared at him with a blank expression. Viktor did not intentionally appear creepy to others - it just happened. He stared at the man a while longer, before his feet began to move again. Fortunately, he did not make the moment even more awkward by just leaving. Instead, he headed towards the table directly in front of the Swedish teacher. His shoes clicked loudly in the silence, most likely disturbing the man. But it wasn't long before he took his seat at the other table, sitting so that they were facing one another. Without saying anything or even looking at him, he placed the papers neatly on the table and began to fill them out.

Viktor was the spitting image of his father - well, nearly. His hair was just the same, platinum and shaggy. His eyes were directly the same - amethyst and mysterious. But his form was lanky and nearly tall enough to be considered awkward. No one realized it, but even as his complexion was pale like Ivan's, it possessed a hint of olive to it. The reason was unknown to why that might be, but Viktor had come to the conclusion long ago that his other parent was Asian.

He and his father did not discuss such things and unless mentioned by Ivan himself, Viktor would not question the matter.

Vladimir had just got out of his English tutoring class His red eye was darting back and forth as he walked briskly down the hall, hopeful to find at least one of his siblings. He hated to be alone unless he was at home, but at school, he would rather be dead then be alone, especially because of a certain German capitol. He rubbed his eye-patch softly, feeling a bit of pain coming from his non-existent eye. Inside his bag was the sound of a few screws, screwdrivers, and some metal parts and wires that he was using to make a new eye to replace his old.

He appeared at the cafeteria door, deciding to go in there or not, fearing a certain German girl would be there. He wrapped his left hand around a part of his scarf as a sort of security blanket as his right hand was wrapping around the door handle. He turn the door open slowly, walking in quietly. As soon as he was a few feet in, he tripped over his own feet by accident, falling onto the ground.

Bang! His face went straight into the ground. He lifted his head up, a bit of blood coming from his nose, damn his clumsiness.

Viktor did not glance up when the door to the cafeteria came open; however, he did glance up when a small thud was able to be heard. He blinked, spotting his younger brother on the floor. He dropped his pen and stood without making a sound. Truly, if someone were to hang around him, they could hear a pin drop. He was that silent - - save for the way his dress shoes tapped against the floor. That couldn't be helped as he approached his younger brother. Once he was close enough, he noticed blood was coming from his brother's nose. Vladimir had always been the clumsiest of all the Russian children.

Removing a small cloth from his pocket, Viktor offered it to the youngest of the family. "Ai suggest you learn to keep proper footing. Et would help." His statement was so blunt, that any normal person would have probably slapped him across the face. But this was how the Russian family was.

He took the cloth, wiping the blood off his face and keeping the cloth under his nose. He tried hard to push back the tears that were about to come to his eye, he hated being the weak one of the bunch. "Spasibo, Bot'er" He sniffled a bit, feeling weak like always. His English was terrible compared to the rest of his family.

He got up, looking up to his taller and older brother, feeling another sense of weakness. His red eye blinked a few times as he managed to smile up to his brother. He was glad that he managed to find someone from his family, but sad that he was showing a terrible amount of weakness at the moment.

"Pozhaluysta." The elder of the two answered, staring blankly at his brother. Although he wouldn't show it, he was very protective of Vladimir. Probably because he was the youngest, but he was also protective of the others too. Viktor just had a hard time of showing it (unless they were facing danger). Vladimir and Dominika were probably the best at showing their feelings.

When Vladimir got to his feet, Viktor tilted his head slightly. He was observing his expression, amethyst eyes soon finding interest in his empty socket. "Ai wonder, are you still building dat new eye?" He asked. "Ai would like to see et once et is complete."

Viktor was aware the Swedish man was still in the room, but like the strange kid he was, completely ignored him. He could have possibly been ignoring him for other reasons too.

He nodded a bit, glad that his brother actually wanted to know about his work. Vlad was great with making mechanical enhancements for humans, animal, and even inanimate objects. His favorite thing was his flowers that can be used as blades.

"Da, Et budet sdelano in a few more dnyeĭ ya nadyeyusʹ." He smiled a bit as he pulled out a small box. He opened it, showing the half finished eye.

The Russian was well aware of his brother's ability to create mechanical objects. In fact, Viktor was secretly fascinated with the things Vladimir was able to build. On more than one occasion, he has wanted to ask him to build something for him, but Viktor didn't know how to approach the situation.

He stared in wonder at the incomplete eye as Vladimir showed it to him. He tilted his head once more, having the sudden urge to touch it, but he would refrain. It was not his place to touch his brother's work. "Et is very neat. Et will be nice once et is finished." He told his brother and much to anyone's surprise, he reached his hand up and placed it upon Vladimir's head. He didn't exactly ruffle his hair or pat his head, but simply...left his hand there before removing it. Once again, Viktor succeeded at being weird.

He smiled, happy that his brother cared about his work instead of detesting it. He closed the box and placed in his bag. He quickly wrapped his arms around his brother, still smiling. "Bot'er if you want me to sdelatʹ vse dlya vas Ai will."

Viktor should have been used to this sort of intimacy, but no matter how many times he was hugged, he seemed to freeze without any idea of what to do next. When it came to Vladimir, he knew he had to be the good older brother and make his younger sibling happy. Viktor's arms found their way around Vladimir's smaller form and although he couldn't show how happy he was that Vlad was offering him something, he was grateful.

"Only if et wouldn't be too much trouble..." He said in a soft tone.

Though a bit merciful, Berwald was growing quite irritating to the sound of voice, dress shoes, and the loud sound of Russian words. If anything got on the Swede’s nerves, it would be the sound of a Russian accent.

“If you don’t mind me asking..” The Sweden begin as he stood, closing his notebook without rising his eyes to the pair yet, “Where are you both coming from? Did you both stay behind for some sort of entertainment or sport?”

Berwald knew he was being rude, but anger was on close stand-by. It wasn’t like he intended on that ether.. Just the thought the two son’s of the Russian lands were in this room left him uneasy.. Like there could be a whole family reunion or something.

Oh dear.. Reunion? Are you trying to stress yourself out, Berwald? He thought quietly, bringing his cold, ice gaze up to the pair straight across from him.

Viktor turned his gaze to the teacher, his eyes seeming soulless as he stared blankly at him. The Russian was no fool; he knew who this man was and he didn't quite appreciate how rude he had been. Viktor supposed he had a legitimate reason to question them, but Viktor refused to answer him right away. Instead, he continued to stare at him. The teacher's eyes, hair color, the shape of his form...he would make a nice experiment for the Russian. Standing close to Vladimir, as if he viewed the teacher as a threat for his brother, he finally decided to answer him. "Ai do mind, but Ai will answer nonedeless. Ai was just feeling out my transfer papers. De principal, my fat'er, suggested Ai attend dis school wit de rest of my family. Ai assure you, my brot'er and Ai are well behaved." He said in a dry tone.

"Ai was coming back from English tutoring..." He had trouble saying a complete sentence in English, but he managed. He looked up to the teacher, his eye a bit blurry with tears because of fear. Vlad was terrified of someone who was almost the same height as his father, he was even afraid of his father at times because of his height. Vlad glanced up at his brother, a small smile forming on his face, knowing that he would protect Vlad no matter what.

The Swede’s eyes lit up with a flash of fury. How dare this.. This.. Pest speak to him this way!? If Berwald wasn’t as mature and calm looking, surely the anger would have flickered onto his facial features and cause him to grip his fist. But this was not the case. Instead.. Berwald let a smile come to his face. A soft laugh emerged from his throat flowed through his lips.. Mockingly in fact.

“Well 'behaved', hmm?” the Sweden’s smile changed into a malice grin slowly as he spoke, “Ha.. Will be a cold day in hell before I ever believe such words.. Viktor.” The boy’s name came out a spitting hiss/warning..

How Berwald knew of the boy’s name was simple. He always was keeping a small tab on his rivals, making sure that any large events were watched for a short period of time and then passed if it wasn’t a huge issue to his lands. Of course it was a bit of stalker like material, it was quite the beneficial ‘research’ sometimes. Extremely at recalling names..

Upon hearing the other Russian, Berwald’s snarl-like grin faded into a gentle sneer, “Well at least one of you are kind and should be well respected... Good for you..”

Viktor just stared at the man. He didn't show it, but he was puzzled. He wasn't sure what he had said that made the teacher mock him, but as he thought he might pin it, the teacher hissed his name in a way that irritated the Russian boy greatly. Slowly, Viktor narrowed his eyes. He wasn't good at showing emotion, but somehow...this Swede was able to bring it out in him. He wasn't sure if he should be grateful, or hate him. Seeing that arguing would not help in the least, he kept quiet and shifted his gaze back to his brother. He saw that Vladimir was smiling at him, but Viktor rarely smiled. Instead, he gave a gentle nod and placed his hand to the top of his brother's head again.

“Well at least one of you are kind and should be well respected... Good for you..”

Viktor averted his eyes back to the teacher. Now, he had passed the line Viktor drew for every person he met. Turning away from his brother, he walked up to the man and stopped just a couple feet away. With a completely straight face, he said, "Ai might have to mention dis to my fat'er. After all, no school needs a teacher dat judges a student incorrectly."

Well aren’t you a kill joy.. Ha.. The Swede smirked to himself, but the grin faded into a very faint smile. Just the way that it should be when the Sweden was happy or amused.

“I haven’t used a name by reference besides to state my opinion on something.. For all you know, dear Viktor, I could have actually been referring to the notes in my hand..” Berwald cleverly said as he took hold a loose grip on the notebook. Making a point none the less. “And if your Father believes your word over mine, then that would be against the rules.. No proof plus favor-meant is a big no-no..”

Taking hold of the coffee mug, Sweden took a sip gratefully. Coffee always soothed his emotions and mind, never creasing to not help him past the mistakes. Like a Russian with vodka..

Viktor, once again, found himself staring blankly at the man in front of him. But if one were to look closely, they could see that his right eye had twitched just slightly. He wasn't exactly finished, even though the Swede made a good point.

"So, what you are saying...is dat Ai shouldn't trust you? After all, what man would want to trust a liar?" He asked. The Russian wanted to be sure to point this out - after all, it wasn't easy to get anything past him. He was very aware that the Swede had been talking about him, instead of someone in his notes.

“Ha-ha.. I’m pretty sure you completely misunderstood my point…” each word was coming out long as a faint hint of delight beginning to shine in the Sweden’s eyes. “But I do find great..hmm… enthusiasm in your statement.. Shows you’re a smart kid..”

Sweden found this older child of the Russian to be quite the catch… Almost as amusing and interesting as the boy’s father. Both shared very fine traits that would bring any grown man or women to their knees in surrender if challenging the country. As for Berwald.. Everyday he was challenging that challenge on if that theory was true or not. So far so good.. Even karma was being slow at getting back at the Swede for making such a mess of things when it came to this.

"Of course.. If we are speaking of lair’s… I could name a few examples… Or more like quotes that show great sly and ominous intentions..” Berwald started carefully due to his bluntness. “Something like.. ‘become one with me,da?’ Seems like a threat.. A threat that only the most stupidest fall for one reason.. If a man is tall, has a dark yet freaky attitude.. That man can lie quickly and fervently without even taking notice he is doing it anymore. Someone will catch on to his slowly molding way's or disguise.. Only then will the lie surely show.”

Looking over Viktor quickly, the Sweden let the very faint smile become just the slightest more noticeable. He was letting on to a lot of his own treasured thoughts, but it didn’t matter.. It was the Swede’s intentions to.

Viktor didn't need to be told he was smart. He knew he was smart, as self-conceited as that sounded. There was a reason he was able to learn quickly, fight skillfully in battle, work with advanced tools, and experiment in his own constructed laboratory. Basically, if you were a Braginski, you were going to be smart - end of story. It was what their father expected of his children. So, although the Swede might have been trying to conceal the fact he was toying with the Russian, Viktor could see right through it. Frankly, it was beginning to aggravate him.

"Я мог бы напасть на него. Остановите меня, если я делаю." The words came out in perfect Russian - the man would not understand; however, Vladimir would and it was meant for Vladimir to hear.

On a normal occasion, Viktor would have had this man on the ground by now, beating him to death with his steel baton for what he had said about his father. Most of the Russian children had enough self-control to give the person insulting Ivan a fair warning, but Viktor left no room for that. But this wasn't some ordinary man he met on the streets. This was Berwald, the Swedish teacher of the Academy - Viktor had no place to attack him. Ivan would be disappointed if he discovered Viktor had killed someone before his registration to the school.

The boy had been silent a long while, just staring soullessly into the other man's eyes before he finally said, "Ai'm sorry, were you waiting for a reply? Ai don't usually answer t'ose who t'ink et unwise to join my fat'er. Ai believe your logic for not joining him is based off fear. A fear most people cannot see t'rough, but Ai suppose Ai cannot hold et against you."

English Translation: I might attack him. Stop me if I do.
    I used google translator.

“Are you deaf?" the Swede counted, a soft chuckle rising in his jaws as he returned the completely lifeless stare, “Threat.. You must be fearful of someone or something to take anything as a threat, Ja?”

Berwald was growing quickly bored of the Russian. Though deep down his emotions and heart both agreed that the child was very annoying and needed a good scolding, it was not in the Sweden’s power and his mind noticed this greatly. As long as the Swede’s mind was deciding to go bored with the issue and want to move on before it took away from his thinking, Berwald also followed it before his heart. Not that it really mattered right now.. The person only a table away was starting to bug him with his Russian word’s.

After each word filled the air, the Sweden sided more with his emotions. The need to completely defy the rules to have an exposed sword on school grounds, fight ton school grounds, and break laws was growing impatient. But, since it was just a child, Berwald just shoved it aside and let the lifeless glare in his eyes grow beyond that. Leaving his normal ice blue a faint death looking hue.

“But whatever the case.. I don’t care in the end.. If you have any other means on these grounds, go attend to them other wise I will personally lead you out myself..” Berwald said surprisingly light.

Viktor couldn't believe this man. Perhaps, he was asking for a death wish? No matter, he knew he needed to control himself. He took a moment and glanced behind him at his younger brother. Something within his amethyst eyes came to life - they seemed to shimmer when he saw the look within Vlad's eyes. It was beautiful. The anger and hatred he felt was just the same as Viktor's and he knew with ease they could take this man down. But they knew better.

Viktor shifted his gaze back to the Swede. "Ai was just going to turn my transfer papers in, and t'en Ai will be gone. Come along, Vladimir." He said in an equally calm tone. He turned on his heel, dress shoes beginning to tap lightly against the marble floor as he signaled for his younger brother to follow.

Vlad looked to his brother that was now walking away then back to the Swedish man. He said something quietly in Russian before catching up with his brother. Vlad let out a soft sigh as he followed his brother, keeping all his thoughts to himself as they walked away. His scarf dragged a bit on the ground as they walked, since his scarf was a bit too big for him, his boots making soft stomping sounds as they made contact with the floor.

Oh how he wanted to follow and make sure they weren’t causing a huge issue, but maturity got the best of him as he flipped open the notebook once more and began to read quietly to himself, evening adding a few words next to a few names..

“What idiots they all are…” he growled to himself again.. Obviously pushing it to the limits.
