Personal Description: Alaska is a very cheerful person. She enjoys being outside in her state. She loves to fish in the summer and dog sledding in the winter. Unlike Russia, she enjoys the snow but will stay inside if it gets too cold.
Her two huskies, Alys and Briggs are used when she dog sleds. Alaska also enjoys to hike and loves seeing the sights over the horizon.

During this time, Alaska was a learning child and very fond of her big brother. However, the two have had conflicts in the past due to the Russians picking on the Alaskan natives. She suffers from retrograde amnesia and does not remember anything before 1867.
She was then adopted by America but since she is relatively not related, she does not share the "Jones" surname. Despite of this, she is truly related to America and Canada. Russia is her surrogate brother despite that he "found" her first.

- Russia: Alaska's once big brother before the events followed before giving her away. Russia and Alaska were close siblings even teaching each other their languages. However, Russia ran into financial issues which led to difficulty to protect his little sister's borders. Russia's boss also thought of Alaska's land as a "wasteland" and therefore had no choice but to put her up for adoption. Alaska does not recall this treachery but vaguely remembers it due to her amnesia. Russia regrets this choice for Alaska was precious to him but he has composed himself around her though he is still anxious that she will remember their past.
- America: Alaska's older and current big brother. He adopted her after Russia gave her away and gave her the name, "Alaska" and the human name, "Emily." At first, America was hesitant in introducing her to his family but accepted her. Not long after in her territory, America discovered that she had valuable resources such as gold and oil. Many people came for her resources including America himself.
One gift that America gave her for her birthday was her independence and officially made her the 49th state.
Alaska and America are somewhat distant relatives, only visiting one another when they have news to share. The two have a love for video games. - Canada: Alaska's sweet neighboring brother. She acknowledges him and doesn't mistake him as America. The two don't talk much but they get along for the most part.
